The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC)

Meetings: Thursdays 3:30 - 5:00 PM in Innovation Lab. Students will be riding in School Van from Ingenuity to Innovation and brought back to Ingenuity by 5:00 PM. Students will go to NASA twice a month on Saturdays from Morning to Noon, times TBA.
Grade Level: Open to all Middle & High School Students
Purpose: The purpose of The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) is to inspire and empower students to explore the fields of aerospace, engineering, and science through hands-on experience in rocketry. The club fosters teamwork, problem-solving, and technical skills as members design, build, and launch rockets, aiming to excel in the national TARC competition. Through collaboration and innovation, the club strives to ignite a passion for STEM and encourage the pursuit of careers in aerospace and related fields.

Purpose: HOSA is an organization that is dedicated to educating the health professionals of tomorrow, through education, conventions, and hands-on experience. HOSA's mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience. Purpose: The goal for the VEX IQ after-school club is to foster teamwork and technical skills by having students form teams to tackle VEX IQ challenge tasks. Each team will design, build, and program a robot, iterating through testing and debugging. They will showcase their robots and present their processes at an event for peers, parents, and staff. The club will emphasize collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement through reflection and feedback sessions.
