The two links below are informative and include a lot of basic information about our Dress Code & Cell Phone Policy for the upcoming school year of 2019 – 2020.
The required supplies needed for next year varies depends on the classes and teachers. Teachers share their supply needs for specific classes on their syllabus at the beginning of the year. Therefore, there are no mandatory supplies to bring at orientation or the first day of school. Teachers, generally, are in need of facial tissues, dry erase markers, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes in their classrooms so you are requested to purchase these items in advance.

“We are very happy to continue to reward our staff for their dedication to excellence,” said Fatih Ay, CEO of Harmony Public Schools. “Every year our 34,000 plus students consistently exceed state education standards. Our teacher’s hard work is recognized annually by major publications, such as US News Best High Schools, and noted children’s advocacy groups.”
In addition to a base salary increase of between $3,500 & $5,000, teachers will be awarded a stipend of $1,000 if they have between 5 and 9 years of classroom experience. Those with more than 10 years’ experience will receive $2,000. “We see this as an investment not only in our teachers but in our students as well,” Ay said.
The new salary schedule follows Governor Greg Abbott’s signing of the $11.5 Billion school finance reform package. Harmony chose to target additional funding into pay & benefits for teachers and staff. These increases have been presented to the HPS Board of Directors, and will be up for approval after receiving regulations from TEA.

You asked! We changed!
You’re invited to take our website survey to find out if the new website is meeting your needs.
During the last few months, we’ve been working to revamp our campus websites based on the feedback we received from focus groups, and online user surveys. Your feedback was critical because it helped us understand why people visit our websites and what they are trying to achieve once they get there.
It’s easy to take part in the survey and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete!
We take your feedback very seriously, and want to provide parents with a valuable resource. If one of your favorite features from the old site is missing: let us know… (Gently – remember the Golden Rule!)
